Service

Along with my friends in the "Little Flowers Girls Club", we volunteered our time to make 4 dinner meals for members in the community that were in need. Some of the families welcomed a new baby whereas one family had a child with cancer and another had been going through a difficult move.

For my Ambassador Leadership Project I worked with Washington County 4H Clubs and families to collect hygiene items for the homeless and make packets to deliver. We collected shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, wipes, snacks, warm socks, lotion, etc... We packaged the items during Community Service Day on Dec. 14th 2019. This event was a great success. We donated 30 Hygiene Packs and another 60 to 70 worth of makeup and feminine hygiene products as well as hats and gloves to Home Plate Youth Services of Washington County I delivered items to their Beaverton office on Monday Dec. 16th. I also delivered $100 worth of feminine hygiene and family sized hygiene items, hats and gloves and 40 hygiene packs complete with warm socks and snacks to St. Vincent de Paul in downtown Hillsboro. In all we delivered over $300 worth of goods to Home Plate and over $400 worth of goods to St. VINCENTS. More recently I helped with food box distribution and hot spot set up for students and their families during distance learning in the Forest Grove School District. I plan to work at St. Vincent De Paul at St. Matthew Parish Church in downtown Hillsboro during the months of July and August to distribute food boxes and furniture. This is for Hillsboro families in need of support.
